Sydney’s Art of Music Gala Dinner has been postponed
Sydney’s prestigious Art of Music Dinner and Auction has been forced to postpone due to the city’s COVID-19 situation.
Presented by Jenny Morris and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy (Noro), the event, which pairs the works of prominent Australian artists with musicians to create inspired works and raise funds for charity, will now go down at the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Saturday, September 18.
Despite being postponed, tickets for the 2021 Art of Music will remain on sale, with all artworks involved in the event already being delivered ready for auction ahead of September.
Artists involved in this year’s event include Holly Greenwood, Nicholas Harding, Leila Jeffreys, Laura Jones, Guy Maestri, Robert Malherbe, Tim Minchin, Alex Seton and Josh Yeldham, who each created an artwork inspired by a song from an Australian musical act.
The event will also feature live performances from the likes of Minchin, Kate Ceberano, Ngaiire and PJ Harding.
