ARIA Midweek Predictions – December 2

ARIA Singles

It is set to be a quiet week in the Top 10 of the ARIA Singles chart next week with the only expected movement set to come from Rudimental’s Lay It All On Me featuring Ed Sheeran; the track will move up from #12. Anew debut will also hit the Top 10 from Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy & The Veronicas with their ARIAs-performed highlightChains.

Vance Joy will see his single Fire And The Flood move into the Top 15 from #20, feeding off the success of the current Taylor Swift national tour. Conrad Sewell’s singles Start Again and Who You Lovin’are expected to move into the Top 20 and 25 respectively, whilst Ed Sheeran’s Photograph will re-enter the Top 30.

ARIA Albums

One album is fighting for a Top 3 debut next week:The 12th Man’s The Very Best Of Richie. It’s set to debut in the bracket, though whether or not it will be able to hold a candle to Adele’s week two sales is another question.

The soundtrack to Molly, the mini-series, is on track to debut in the Top 20 alongside The Vamps’ Wake Up.

On the movement side of things, Taylor Swift’s 1989 will move back into the Top 5 from #9 as sales shoot up during her current stay in the country for her Australian tour. Tina Arena’s Eleven will move into the Top 15 from #22, followed by Vance Joy’s Dream Your Life Away from #24. Tame Impala are likely to hit the Top 20 again from #33 with Currents, likely benefitting from the release of their new music video to The Less I Know The Better.
