ARIA midweek chart predictions – Feb 11

Next week should see OMI’s Cheerleader hold #1 on the ARIA Singles chart with no major movement happening in the Top 5. Taylor Swift’s Style should break the Top 10 after just three weeks in the chart though, as should Meghan Trainor’s Dear Future Husband. Philip George’s Wish You Were Mine will be seeing some healthy movement up the Top 50 as well, expected to land somewhere in the Top 20 up form its current position of #24. The Weeknd (pictured)’s Earned It should break the Top 30 and Sam Smith’s Stay With Me is expected back in the Top 35, no doubt as a result of his four Grammy wins this week.

The ARIA Albums chart is set to see a much more exciting week than last with at least three debuts expected within the Top 10. Fifty Shades Of Grey’s soundtrack is set for a Top 3 entry with a chance at #1. The hype behind Fifty Shades Of Grey alone might be enough to topple Taylor Swift’s streak at #1 with 1989. Expected to break in the Top 5 is Diana Krall’s Wallflower followed by Bob Dylan’s Shadows In The Night in the Top 10. Just outside that in the Top 15 are two albums to look for, Fifth Harmony’s Reflection and Kid Ink’s Full Speed. Movement-wise, One Direction’s Four is set to push back into the Top 15, bolstered from their current Australian stadium tour. Human Nature’s Jukebox is set to hit the Top 30 again, as is Barbra Steisand’s Partners.
