ARIA Midweek Chart Predictions – August 19

ARIA Singles

Compared to the last two weeks, it’s going to be a comparatively quiet week on the Singles chart come Saturday.The highest movers are going to be entering the Top 10: Aston Merrygold’s Get Stupid and Nico & Vinz’s That’s How You Know, both of which currently sit in the Top 20. Jessie J’s Flashlight will return to the Top 20 while Taylor Swift’s latest single Wildest Dreams is set to enter the Top 30 with Hardwell’s Follow Me featuring Jason Derulo.Only one track is set to debut high,5 Second Of Summer’s Fly Away in the Top 20.

ARIA Albums

The Album chart is a different story this week, with two different albums contending for the #1 debut. Leading the race so far is Bullet For My Valentine’s Venom followed closely by Dead Letter Circus’ Aesthesis. It’s followed by two possible Top 5 debuts from Jimmy Barnes’ Best Of The Soul Years and The Waifs’ Beautiful You. No other debuts are expected until the Top 30 with Dillon Francis’ This Mixtape Is Fire, Melanie Martinez’s Cry Baby and Neck Deep’s Life’s Not Out To Get You. There’s little to look for in regards to movement with nothing expected to happen until the Top 30 with Avril Lavinge’s self titled album and Lee Kernaghan’s Spirit Of The Anzacs moving into the Top 40.
