ARIA midweek chart predictions – April 8 2015

The Singles chart will see an unusually high debut next week with Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again featuring Charlie Puth set for a debut within the Top 3. Two other debuts are expected, though no where nearas high. The first, from Jamie Lawson’s Wasn’t Expecting That inthe Top 20 and Walk The Moon’s Shut Up & Dance in the Top 50. Movement in the chart is expected from Skrillex & Diplo’s Where Are U Now featuring Justin Bieber, which should move into the Top 5 from #7. The last notable movement to look out for will come from Galantis’ Runaway which is going to enter the Top 15 from its current spot of #19.

The albums chart is set to see an uneventful week, atleast in regards to debuts, with only two noteworthy debuts expected. All Time Low’s Future Hearts is set to enter somewhere in the Top 5 though it is likely that they won’t be able to break the Top 3. The last entry is going to be form Sufjan Steven’s Carrie & Lowell, which will enter in the lower spectrum of the Top 10. Ed Sheeran’s + is likely to move into the Top 5, up from its current spot of #13, no doubt thanks to the success of his current Australian tour. The soundtrack to Furious 7 is likely to move into the Top 10 followed by Taylor Swift’s Red, which is going to re-enter the Top 15.
