APRA AMCOS announces major rebrand
APRA AMCOS has announced the biggest rebrand of its corporate image in nearly 25 years.
The overhaul for the Australasian Performing Right Association Limited (APRA) and the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society Limited (AMCOS) include a new website and logo, which will receive a soft launch at the APRA Awards on June 23.
Among the website’s nine new features is an interactive online calculator that generates a licence fee estimate for music customers; a guide to APRA AMCOS’ many local and international initiatives and projects like Sounds Australia, the National Live Music Office, SongHubs, SongMakers, the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, ATSI Music Office, APRA Music Grants among others; a dynamic event calendar that features music competitions, professional development workshops and opportunities, networking and industry events and business critical information for music creators and customers.
The website was the end product of consultancy meetings with APRA AMCOS ambassadors, execs and songwriters and designed by ATLAS Agency. The new brand and logo development (an ‘A’ revealed behind a sound wave pattern) was helmed by both Moon Communications and Born & Raised.
More features and new additions to the overhaul, like an upcoming App for songwriters and composers, will be rolled out over the next six to twelve months.
APRA and AMCOS teamed up over 17 years ago however APRA was established in 1926.
