Amrap Chart Wrap: King Gizz and Client Liaison take the Top Spots in Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Client Liaison take the top spots.
Client Liaison take #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart, also taking #3 in the Metro Chart with World of Our Love. The track has racked up airplay in every state and territory at stations including King Island Community Radio in TAS, 8CCC in NT, 2XX Canberra, 4ZZZ Brisbane, Noongar Radio, Bunbury Community Radio and 6DBY in WA, Bay FM in QLD, Hills Radio, 5GTR, 5THE FM, Coast FM and Triple Z in SA, 2NVR, 2RRR, 2MIA, 2RDJ, FBi Radio, 2BACR, Bay FM, 2SEA and 2MCR in NSW, as well as 3MGB, 3BBB, North West FM, 3NRG, Hot FM, Inner FM, Mitchell Community Radio and SYN in VIC.

Jesse Redwing is going strong in the Amrap Regional Chart, taking #2 with Crawlin’ up the Walls. Watch the music video herefor the modern blues tune as featured on Amrap Pages, andon stations websites such as 2xx Canberra, FBi Radio Sydney, 4ZZZ Brisbane and Tyga FM in TAS.
Major Leagues take #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart for the second week running with Someone Sometime having picked up a spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. GL enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #4 with Grip having picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. The Melbourne duo are set to play as part of a Women in Electronic Music showcase, presented by FBi Click as part of Vivid Festival.
Christine Jane has climbed to #4 in the Amrap Regional Chart with In this Night. Christine is no stranger to community radio, having dropped by Eastside Radio in Sydney to guest host Celluloid Dreams. Hockey Dad enter the Amrap Metro Chart at #5, also taking #8 in the Amrap Regional Chart with So Tired. The upbeat track has racked up airplay across the country at stations including Twin Cities Radio in WA, SYN Melbourne, FBi Radio Sydney, Fraser Coast FM in QLD, King Island Community Radio in TAS, Alex FM and Hills Radio in SA, Sunraysia Community Radio, Inner FM and 3NRG in VIC, as well as Valley FM, 2EAR and 2MCR in NSW.
Cathy Menezes debuts at #5 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Waves of Seven. The soulful single has amassed airplay Australia-wide at stations including 5ZZZ in SA, Noosa Community Radio and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, 3RPC, Yarra Valley FM and 3MGB in VIC, as well as Monaro FM, 2BACR, Yass FM, Eastside Radio and Highland FM in NSW.
Brisbane’s Sahara Beck takes #6 in the Amrap Metro Chart in her third charting week with Spinning Time, having picked up a spot in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 new music list. Sahara dropped by her hometown station 4ZZZ for a catch up with Remy and Clare on Girls Can Tell. Listen back here.
Tracy McNeil & the GoodLife enter the Amrap Regional Chart at #6 with Paradise. The band recently stopped by Twang on Triple R Melbourne for a live performance and interview, chatting about launching the single and their last trip to the States.
