Amrap Chart Wrap: Gooch Palms and Krista Pav & the Social Fabric Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. Our first week back in 2016 sees The Gooch Palms and Krista Pav & the Social Fabric Top Community Radio Charts.
The Gooch Palms have jumped to #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the energetic single Tiny Insight, having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. Dorsal Fins take #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the synth-laden Heart on the Floor, having picked up spots in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and FBi Radio Sydney’s New Music list. Bag Raiders take #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Friend Inside. The track has received airplay all over at stations including 4EB in QLD, Gove FM and CAAMA Radio in NT, Hills Radio and 5THE FM in SA, 3MGB, 3MDR, Mitchell Community Radio, 3ZZZ, UG FM, 3WAY FM, and 3WBC in VIC, as well as Braidwood Community Radio, 2SEA, Northside Radio, 2RDJ and Valley FM and Coast FM in NSW.
Sparrows have climbed to #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart with On your Own, having picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s New Music list. Brisbane hip hop starlet Mallrat has taken #8 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Sunglasses having picked up positions in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16.
