Amrap Chart Wrap: Emma Louise takes the Top Spots in Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Emma Louise topping both the Amrap Regional and Metro Charts.

Brisbane songstress Emma Louise takes the top spot in both the Amrap Regional and Amrap Metro Charts with the delicate single Underflow. The track has picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and Edge Radio Hobart’s new music lists and has received further airplay across the country at stations including 89.7 FM in WA, Fleurieu FM in SA, Noosa Community Radio, 4ZZZ, Triple T and Radio 4YOU in QLD, 2SEA, Bay FM, Yass FM, Nambucca Valley Radio, Bay FM and TLC FM in NSW, as well as 3RPC, 3WAY FM, Southern FM, Radio Upper Murray, SYN, North West FM, 3MDR and Joy FM in VIC.

Marlon Williams takes #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Hello Miss Lonesome. Listen to him catch up with Jack Shit on Jack Off on FBi Radio, featuring a live performance of an original, along with a cover of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face. Adelaide pocket rocket Tkay Maidza debuts at #2 in the Amrap Regional Chart with Ghost. The thunderous rap track has received airplay all over at stations including Edge Radio Hobart, RTR FM Perth, WOW FM in SA, Noongar Radio in WA, Switch 1197 and 4ZZZ Brisbane, FBi Radio and 2SEA in NSW, as well as Seymour FM, 97.9 FM and SYN in VIC.

Perth four piece Gunns have also entered the Amrap Metro Chart, taking #4 with She’s a Rainbow. The reverberating single has picked up spots in their hometown station RTR FM’s Sound Selection and SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 new music lists. Check out their performance at RTR’s Courtyard Club, a live outside broadcast of their Drivetime program from the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia Courtyard.

Joe Creighton is at #6 in the Amrap Regional Chart with the brass driven track Running Free. Krista Polvere has entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #7 with Shut Up and Ride. The alt-country track has received airplay in every state and territory at stations including 2XX FM in Canberra, Gove FM in NT, King Island Community Radio in TAS, Burnett River Radio and Bay FM in QLD, Radio Mama and Tjuma Pulka Media Aboriginal Corporation in WA, Coast FM, Radio Goolwa and Fleurieu FM in SA, Nambucca Valley Radio, 2AIR FM and 2SEA in NSW as well as 3RPC, Voice FM, Radio Murrindindi, NRG FM and Hot FM in VIC.
