Amrap Chart Wrap: Eagle & the Wolf and Fascinator Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through theAmrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Eagle & the Wolf(pictured) and Fascinator top the Amrap Regional and Metro Charts.
Eagle & the Wolf have jumped eight spots to take #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart with the soul-drenched Americana of Mama, Son and the Holy Ghost. Fascinator takes the top spot in the Amrap Metro Chart for the second consecutive week with Time to Go having picked up a spot in RTR FM Perth’s Sound Selection. Perth act Bang Bang Betty & the H-Bombs take #3 in the Amrap Regional Chart with He’s the One. The song has racked up airplay across the country at stations including 8CCC in NT, Radio Mama in WA, 2XX and Artsound FM in ACT, Inner FM, Sunbury Radio and Voice FM in VIC, Burnett River Radio, Noosa Community Radio and Valley FM in QLD, 5ZZZ, 5GTR FM and Coast FM in SA, as well as Northside Radio, TLC FM, Byron Bay FM, 2AIR, 2SEA and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW.
Courtney Barnett takes #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart in her sixth charting week with Three Packs a Day. Centre and the South take #4 in the Amrap Regional Chart in their third charting week with Take it as it Comes. The rock n roll track has picked up airplay all over at stations including King Island Radio in TAS, WOW FM in SA, Noosa Community Radio and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Harvey Community Radio, Bunbury Community Radio and Tjuma Pulka FM in WA, as well as 3MGB, 3RPC and Sunraysia Community Radio in VIC.
Henry Wagons enters the Amrap Metro Chart at #5 with Santa Fe.
