Amrap Chart Wrap: Dan Sultan and The Laurels hold onto Top Spots in Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Dan Sultan and The Laurels hold on tight to #1 in the Amrap Regional and Metro Charts.
Dan Sultan has held onto the top position in the Amrap Regional Chart with Magnetic having picked up Track of the Week on Harvey Community Radio in WA. The Laurels have also clung to #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with the title track to their new record Sonicology, having picked up Recommended Album on Edge Radio Hobart, Feature Album 2ser Sydney, and Album of the Week on FBi Radio Sydney and PBS FM Melbourne, all whilst racking up spots in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and Triple R Melbourne’s Soundscape. Going Swimming have moved up to #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Debt Collector having picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list and racked up further airplay across the country at stations including Voice of The Avon and HFM in WA, Three D and PBA FM in SA, Valley FM, Bay FM and 4EB in QLD, 2MCR, Yass FM, Northside Radio, Triple H and 2CHR FM in NSW, as well as SYN, Radio Murrindindi, Inner FM, OCR FM and 3RPC in VIC.
Jack River enjoy #3 in the Amrap Regional Chart, also taking #6 in the Regional stakes with Palo Alto. The cascading single has picked up a spot in 2SER’s Servin’ Up and FBi Radio Sydney’s new music lists, with additional airplay across the country at stations including Star FM in TAS, 2EAR FM and Triple H in NSW, 4ZZZ, Valley FM and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, as well as Inner FM, 3MDR, UG FM and 3MGB in VIC.
