Amrap Chart Wrap: Camp Cope and Héloise take out Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirItmusic distribution service. This week sees all female lineups take the top spots.
Camp Cope take #1 on the Amrap Metro Chart with Jet Fuel can’t Melt Steel Beams, having picked up a spot in FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. Listen to Sarah from the band’s chat with Aus Unplugged on SYN and guest programming fellow Melbourne station PBS FM’s The Breakfast Spread.
Héloise has entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #1 with the spaghetti western inspired Old Salt. The Melbourne singer joined Matty for a chat and live performance on Bay FM’s Radioactive. Listen back here.
Spookyland take #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Big Head, having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. The band stopped by The Bridge on FBi Radio, chatting about their beginnings making ’bedroom folk bonanzas.’
Client Liaison are still going strong in the Amrap Regional Chart, taking #2 with World of our Love. The song has racked up airplay all over at stations including King Island Community Radio in TAS, Bay FM in QLD, Valley FM and 2XX Canberra, Noongar Radio, Bunbury Community Radio and 6DBY in WA, Hills Radio, 5GTR, 5THE, Coast FM and Triple Z in SA, 2NVR, 2RRR, 2NVR, Blue Mountains Radio, 2MIA, 2RDJ, 2BACR, Bay FM, 2SEA and 2MCR in NSW, as well as 3MGB, Voice FM, North West FM, 3NRG, Yarra Valley FM, Hot FM, Inner FM and Mitchell Community Radio in VIC.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard pick up #3 in the Amrap Metro Chart in their sixth charting week with People-Vultures, with spots in 2SER Sydney’s SERvin’ Up new music list and 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20. Listen to Joey Walker from the band guest programming Be Suburban on PBS FM Melbourne here.

Major Leagues are back in the Amrap Metro Chart at #4 with Someone Sometime. The Brisbane girl group have picked up spots on 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and 2SER Sydney’s SERvin’ up new music lists. The Moorditj Brothers enter the Amrap Regional Chart at #4 with Just Dance. The didge riddled track has racked up airplay in every state and territory at stations including Hobart FM in TAS, 2XX Canberra, Voice of the Avon in WA, WOW FM in SA, Gove FM in NT, 2MCR and Highland FM in NSW, Noosa Community Radio and Beau FM in QLD, Sunraysia Community Radio and Yarra Valley Radio in VIC.
