Amrap Chart Wrap: Birds of Tokyo and The Drones Top Community Radio Charts
The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Birds of Tokyo and The Drones Top Community Radio Charts.

The Drones take #1 in the Amrap Metro Chart with To Think that I Once Loved You having picked up Feature Album on FBi Radio Sydney, and spots in 2Ser Sydney’s SERvin’ Up! and 4ZZZ’s Top 20 new music lists. The Sugarcanes have entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #2 with the horn driven lament Never Call. The band are playing a live set in Triple R Melbourne’s Performance Space 20 April as part of the station’s April After Dark series. The ska supergroup have racked up airplay all over at stations including 2XX Canberra, Edge Radio in TAS, Harvey Community Radio in WA, Alex FM and Radio Adelaide in SA, Noosa Community Radio, Valley FM and Fraser Coast Community Radio in QLD, 3MGB, 3WBC, 3NRG, Voice FM, Mitchell Community Radio and Apple FM in VIC, as well as Eastside Radio, Valley FM, Monaro FM, Northside Radio and Port Stephens FM in NSW.
