Amrap Chart Wrap: Benny Walker and Thigh Master Top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Benny Walker and Thigh Master take the top spots.
Thigh Master have entered the Amrap Metro Chart at #1 with Company having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and Perth’s Sound Selection. Thigh Master frontman Matt Ford joined Ian from Brighten the Corners on his hometown station 4ZZZ Brisbane, debuting tracks from the album and playing some commuter classics. Listen back here. Benny Walker has climbed to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart, also taking #10 in the Metro stakes with Oh no you Don’t. The track has racked up airplay in every state and territory at stations including 8CCC in NT, Tjuma Pulka FM in WA, Edge Radio Hobart, ArtSound FM Canberra, Fraser Coast FM and Noosa FM in QLD, Fleurieu FM, Coast FM and Alex FM in SA, Main FM, 3RPP, Plenty Valley FM, Southern FM, Hot FM, 3MGB and 3WBC in VIC, as well as 2AIR FM, 2MIA, 2SEA, 2MCR, Nambucca Valley Radio, Port Stephens FM, Northside Radio and Eastside Radio in NSW.
Montaigne debuts at #2 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Because I Love You, having picked up spots in SYN Melbourne’s Sweet 16 and FBi Radio Sydney’s new music list. The track has racked up further airplay at stations including Fleurieu FM in SA, Gin Gin’s Own in QLD, Noongar Radio in WA, UG FM and 3YYR in VIC, as well as Valley FM, 2SSR, 2RRR, SWR FM and 2MCR in NSW.

Ben Mitchell wrote and recorded a song in support of #KeepCommunityRadio which takes #3 in the Amrap Regional Chart. Ben is a passionate supporter of community radio. He recently post a selfie in support of the campaign, and last year stopped by Southern FM in VIC to play a 17-track live set as part of the stations Sunday Sessions podcast.
