Amrap Chart Wrap: Benny Walker and The Laurels top Community Radio Charts

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts provide insight into what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the top ten tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week sees Benny Walker climb to #1 in the Amrap Regional Chart, while The Laurels take out the Metro Chart for the third week running.
Benny Walker has entered the Amrap Regional Chart at #1 with Save. Watch the official film clip as featured via Amrap Pages on station websites including Triple R Melbourne and 979 FM in VIC. The song has racked up further additional airplay across the east coast of Australia at stations including Eastside Radio, Koori Radio, 2RDJ and 2SEA in NSW, Burnett River Community Radio, Noosa Community Radio, Fraser Coast FM and Valley FM in QLD, as well as 3RPC, 979 FM, 3MDR, Sunraysia Community Radio, North West FM, 3MGB and 3WBC in VIC.
The Laurels hold onto the top spot in the Amrap Metro Chart for the third week running with the title track to their new record Sonicology, having picked up Recommended Album on Edge Radio Hobart, Feature Album on 2ser Sydney, and Album of the Week on FBi Radio Sydney and PBS FM Melbourne, all whilst racking up spots in 4ZZZ Brisbane’s Top 20 and Triple R Melbourne’s Soundscape. Their reverberating pop single has amassed further airplay at stations including Star FM in TAS, Tribe FM and Fleurieu FM in SA, Harvey Community Radio and HFM in WA, Valley FM, Bay FM, and Fraser Coast FM in QLD, Coast FM, Triple H FM, Yass FM, 2SSR, 2EAR and Nambucca Valley Radio in NSW, as well as Yarra Valley FM, OCR FM, Inner FM, 3MGB, 3MDR, 979 FM and SYN in VIC.
Mental as Anything take #3 in the Amrap Regional Chart in their fourth charting week with Goat Tracks. The Swamp Stompers sail into the Amrap Regional Chart at #7 with All my Loving (Feat. Holly Tapp). Moonbase Commander debut at #7 in the Amrap Metro Chart with Oblivion (feat. Ecca Vandal). The Sydney artist dropped into his hometown station FBi Click for a guest mix, curating a diverse playlist of bass and new wave trap, doused in grime and hip hop samples. Listen back here.
