Australian Institute of Music to host postgraduate information session

Ahead of their mid-year intake, the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) has announced details of an information session for prospective Masters students this June.

The information session will take place at AIM’s Surry Hills campus on Wednesday, June 16 from 6pm, with the additional option of partaking via livestream to find out more about the Masters program.

The session will feature presentations from staff about AIM’s three postgraduate music degrees, including its Graduate Certificate (six months full-time), Graduate Diploma (12 months full-time) and Master of Music (two years full-time), as well as how each course is structured and the potential benefits of postgraduate music study.

Prospective students will also be able to find out more about the specifics of AIM’s postgraduate music performance (classical, contemporary & musical theatre) and production (composition & audio) streams, in addition to flexible study options, insights into growth areas and emerging opportunities within the industry.

Career advice on what pathways students can choose to pursue after the completion of their postgraduate degree will also be offered.

Registrations for the information session at AIM’s Surry Hills campus are open now, while a sign-up for the corresponding livestream can be accessed online.
