Abbie Chatfield Creates ‘Australian Made’ Segment on Radio Show

Abbie Chatfield has launched a new segment to spotlight Australian music on her national nights show on the Hit Network.

“Australian Made” takes place each Thursday night during her “Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield” show, with an interview and a special performance.

So far, Keli Holiday (Adam Hyde from Peking Duk), Sycco (Sasha McLeod) and Lucy Lucy (Lucy Washington) have appeared on the show.

In the coming weeks, Mia Wray, Tuppaware Party, Betty Taylor and Hope D will be on the show.

Chatfield said: “I love Australian music, it’s the majority of what I listen to and with the “Australian Made” series we’re finally able to spotlight Australian artists on the show. From big names to small local bands who send DMs to the show, Aussie artists are so talented and I’m so glad I can provide this platform to share their music.”

Chatfield’s show runs from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weeknights on Sydney’s 2Day FM, Melbourne’s Fox FM, Brisbane’s B105, Adelaide’s SAFM, Perth’s Mix 94.5, as well as various Hit Network regional stations.

She took over the nights show on the Hit Network in early 2022, filling the void left by Ash London, who had decided to depart radio.

Her other roles include being a panellist on Channel 10’s “The Masked Singer”, hosting the “It’s a Lot” podcast with SCA’s Listnr and soon she will front Binge’s “Fboy Island”.
