Nick Cave’s 15-year-old son dies after falling from cliff
15-year-old Arthur Cave was found fatally injured at the bottom of the cliff at Ovingdean Gap at 18:00 BST on Tuesday.
The son of Victorian-born musician Nick Cave and British modelSusie Bick died after a fall from a cliff in Brighton.
Sussex Police have said Arthur Cave was found on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton; he died later from his injuries.
Police said the coroner is investigating but his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Nick, Susie and Arthur's twin brother Earl released a statement:
"Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."
Earl left a note and flowers at the scene. It read: "I love you so much. You were a joy to be around and I willnever forget you. You were the best brother I could ever ask for. Earl"
Nick Cave, best known as the singer of the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, lives with his family five kilometres from the Ovingdean Gap.
