Muscles announces national tour

The Melbourne-based one man party machine will be taking on Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth to play not only choice cuts from his albumsGuns, Babes LemonadeandManhood, but also euphoric new remixes from his upcoming third album.

Dripping inMuscles’trademark sound that evokes sweat, jumping, chanting and an all-round exhilarated vibe,Unicornswas premiered on Triple J and was quickly given a spot add. With the announcement yesterday of a spot on theBigsound Live 2015line up, we are in for a glorious second half of 2015 which is set to shake with that familiarMusclesmania that first arose with his previous hit singles ‘Ice Cream’ (ARIA Gold Certified) and ‘Girl Crazy Go’. Now, he is offering new shows and tracks that only further excite for their progressive, gritty and effervescent sound that blends and jumps between electro, hip hop and dance pop.

The BBC have hailed Muscles’ distinctive music to be “a big, warm, cascading flow of electro-pop” while Pitchfork state that he is “pretty awesome”. He has played thumping, exhilarating sets across the country at festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Southbound, and Golden Plains Festival, as well as support slots for massive acts including Girl Talk, and Hot Chip.
