Ex-Warner Music UK CEO Christian Tattersfield signs Kobalt publishing deal

Kobalt Music Publishing (KMP) has signed a deal with former Warner Music UK CEO, Christian Tattersfield’s independent publishing company, Good Soldier Songs.
Encompassing artists on the Good Soldier Songs roster, the agreement covers worldwide administration (ex France, Australia and New Zealand) of all future works as well as the existing catalogue.
Among those represented by Good Soldier Songs are platinum-selling Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro and indie four-piece The 1975, who topped the UK Album Chart with their 2013 eponymous debut. Other prominent names on the Good Soldier Songs roster include indie rockers Coasts and indie anthem masters The Wombats.
Good Soldier Songs was founded by Tattersfield in 2003. He held the position of CEO at Warner Music UK from 2009 to 2014, also working as Chairman of Warner Bros Records UK during that time. Over the course of his career he has had a hand in the development of artists such as Jay Z, David Gray, Damien Rice and Birdy. Tattersfield has also previously been Chairman of the BRITs Committee.
