Bag Raiders to re-issue debut album, host pop-up store in Sydney

Sydney electronic duo Bag Raiders are celebrating 10 years since the release of their self-titled album with a limited-edition vinyl re-issue and 18-page photo booklet.

Alongside the vinyl re-issue, the group have organised a pop-up store and photo exhibition in Sydney between December 18-22. The exhibition will host images from photographer Pat Stevenson, who has been a long-time documenter of Bag Raiders since their early beginnings, including at the 2009 launch show of their breakthrough hit ‘Shooting Stars’.

Exclusive prints from Stevenson, in addition to copies of the vinyl and merch, will be available to purchase at the pop-up store.

The band will be exhibiting some of the equipment they’ve used over the course of their live performances, and also be projecting animated visuals.

The exhibition will be held at Darlinghursts’s Atelier Motorik with free admission.

Bag Raiders debuted on the ARIA Album Charts at #7 upon its release. Since their debut album, Bag Raiders have released one other full-length record, Horizons in 2019, as well as a handful of EPs over the years.
