The Veronicas and Anthony Callea to compete in Celebrity Apprentice
Australian musicians Anthony Callea, and Lisa and Jess Origliasso (The Veronicas) will compete to be crowned Australia’s Celebrity Apprentice.
The show is returning to Channel 9 next year and boasts former winners including Sophie Monk, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, and Julia Morris.
Celebrity Apprentice Australia has already commenced filming and will air in 2021.
Nine said the 2021 edition of the show would be the biggest shake-up the series has ever seen, predicting “sparks will fly and egos are sure to be bruised as Lord Sugar clashes with the celebrities in the boardroom”.
“In each episode, two teams of celebrities will take on an epic task, using their business savvy, creativity and charm – while reaching into their little black book of contacts – to win cash for their chosen charities,” publicity for the show said.
The Veronicas said they were partaking in the program to raise money for The Brain Foundation. The duo’s mother suffers from dementia and progressive supranuclear palsy.
Callea is competing to raise money for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The show will be hosted by Lord Alan Sugar, who fronted the show for 15 seasons in the UK.
Sugar will be joined by fitness apparel entrepreneur Lorna Jane Clarkson, and Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, who will both act as his “right hand”.
