Tones And I, Avicii & Mabel celebrate full year on Hot 100

It’s been a milestone-filled month on the TMN Hot 100 powered by Radio Monitor, as several local and international acts celebrate a full year on the chart.

This week sees ‘Wake Me Up’ by the late Swedish producer Avicii crack a 52nd week on the chart, and the tune currently sits at #64. That track, along with several others on to hit the 12-month mark recently, has been in and out of the chart on several occasions.

The biggest Aussie tune of 2019, ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones And I, also recently cracked the year mark, and re-enters this week at #78. It’s one of four singles that Tones currently has on the Hot 100, with the highest single being ‘Bad Child’ at #15.

‘Can We Pretend’ by the Hot 100’s most successful artist P!NK is another to chart for a full year, currently  at #89, as has Mabel’s 2019 hit ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ (#63 this week).

Ed Sheeran is eyeing off the mark too, with ‘Beautiful People’ (#86) featuring Khalid just one week away from the achievement.

Meanwhile 2020 breakout artist Sam Fischer is looking to join rare company, as his single ‘This City’ eyes the summit of the chart.

The tune is currently at #2, and if Fischer manages to crack the top spot he’ll join a select few Australian acts to do so over the past 24 months (including Guy Sebastian, Tones And I and 5 Seconds Of Summer).

Another Aussie that is impacting the Hot 100 at the moment is Sia, with her new hit ‘Together’ looking solid at #14 in its fourth charting week.

Brando’s first solo #1 single on the chart ‘Look Into My Eyes’ remains in top position for a third consecutive week, as The Weeknd’s TikTok viral hit ‘Blinding Lights’ climbs back into the Top 5.
