Kylie cancels German concerts after promoter woes
Kylie Minogue has cancelled her upcoming tour of Germany due to the promoter’s “financial difficulties”.
Minogue, who was set to begin the German leg of her Kiss Me Once tour on Wednesday, announced the news on her website. CT Creative Talent GmbH has pulled its support from the tour as it undergoes preliminary insolvency hearings.
German Lovers,
I am extremely disappointed that due to financial difficulties of the German promoter CT Creative Talent GmbH, I am unable to perform the scheduled shows in Cologne, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. The Administrator who is now controlling CT Creative Talent GmbH, is unable to confirm that we have the venues and facilities needed to be able to put on the shows.
On my behalf, my management team at Roc Nation are trying to work out a way that we may be able to make up for the disappointment, both to the fans who have purchased tickets, all of my creative and technical team on the KMO tour and also myself. I have always had great support in Germany from a loyal and loving fan base and I can’t stress enough how difficult and disappointing it is to be ready to play the shows and to have been let down at the last minute.
CT Creative Talent GmbH is not the promoter for any of the other shows on the KMO tour outside of Germany and therefore this does not affect, in any way, any other shows.
Please keep an eye on this space so we can update you all with any developments.

According to Creative Talent’s Facebook page, GmbH filed an application with the District Court of Berlin-Charlottenburg in mid-September for insolvency proceedings to be initiated. It was approved on September 12.
“For the concert promoter CT creative talent, the cancellation of the Backstreet Boys tour in the summer in addition to other large events that failed to take place represented the provisional end to a below-par concert summer,” a post on Creative Talent’s Facebook page reads. “To date, it has not been possible to absorb the financial losses incurred as a result. To safeguard its future solvency, the company’s management therefore decided to file an application for insolvency.”
Minogue has cancelled four dates at Laxness Arena in Cologne on October 22, Olympiahalle in Munich on the 25th, the O2 World in Berlin on the 27th and at the O2 Arena in Hamburg on October 28th. She will perform in Slovakia next Sunday.
In March next year Minogue will be back in Australia to take her Kiss Me Once tour to Perth (March 14), Adelaide (March 17), Melbourne (March 18), Sydney (March 20) and Brisbane (March 21).
