It was only a matter of time before this track broke through that bracket given the ridiculous amount of spotlight and sales he has received in the past few weeks whilst he’s been in the country on his promo tour.Alesso’sHeroesmoves into the Top 10 and reaches a new peak at #8 whilst Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj’sBang Bangjust manages to stay at #10 after falling from last week’s #5. ARIA Singles This week’s Singles chart sees the same Top 4 with The Veronicas’You Ruin Mesitting at #1 now in its third week at the top spot, Ed Sheeran’sThinking Out Loud at #2, Meghan Trainor’sAll About That Bass at #3 andTaylor Swift’sShake It Off at #4. The first bit of movement occurs with Timmy Trumpet & Savage’sFreaks moving up to #5 from #6, two spots short of its highest peak at #3. Echosmith’sCool Kids managed to make some ground, moving up one position to #7, a new peak for the track. Becky G’sShower also enjoys a new peak this week at #14, up from last week’s #19. Nico & Vinz’sAm I Wrong makes a re-entry into the chart following the release of their albumBlack StarElephant. ARIA Albums Ed Sheeran remains at #1 this week withX taking the top spot for it’s fifth week interrupted now. It’s been a stellar month for Sheeran with an incredibly successful promo tour under his belt and an ARIA nomination for the Best International Artist. Frozen’s soundtrack moves back up to #2 as Barbra Streisand’sPartners falls to #3. At #4 this week is a new debut from American country group Lady Antebellum with747,becoming the trio’s fourth ARIA Top 10 appearance. Another new debut is seen at #14 from Augie March’sHavens Dumb.The album is their first appearance in the chart since their albumWatch Me Disappear peaked at #4 in October of 2008. At #17 is a debut from Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz and their albumBlack Star Elephant. This is their second studio album and their first appearance in the ARIA Albums chart.
