Bose Australia launches development fund with $20,000 grant

Former Editor

Just days after announcing Guy Sebastian as a brand ambassador, audio manufacturer Bose has launched a campaign to offer one artist a $20,000 development grant.

Sebastian, along with DJ and producer Tigerlily, surf photographer Cloudy Rhodes, Sydney artist Jess Bush, graphic designer Morgan Tait and Sydney street artist Beastman, has shared his story via the campaign’s website listenforyourself.com.au to encourage upcoming creatives to share their own stories.

Open to creative individuals with a passion for any medium, the Bose Creative Development Fund is now open nationally.
Entrants are encouraged to demonstrate their talent through any medium that can be uploaded to the official microsite or via social media with the hashtag #ListenForYourselfAU.

Bose, Guy Sebastian and Tigerlily will choose one winner each week for the next ten weeks to take home a Bose Prize Pack worth over $800. The final victor chosen from the ten weekly winners will be announced on September 17 and take home the $20,000 grant.

“It’s not an easy feat to chase your dreams, but it’s something that’s so important,” said Sebastain. “Everyday I’m amazed that I get to do what I love as my career.  I believe everyone is unique and there are a lot of people out there who have incredible talent. The Bose Creative Development Fund aims to help these Australians take their dreams one step further.”

The initiative ties in with the unveiling of Bose’s new Freestyle on-ear and around-ear headphones and earbuds.
