APRA AMCOS announces senior management appointments

Former Editor

Copyright collective APRA AMCOS has appointed Matthew Fackrell as Director, Business Change and Catherine Giuliano as Director Recorded Music Licensing.

Giuliano has stepped into the senior management role vacated by Matthew Fackrell. Her previous post was within APRA AMCOS as Deputy Director of the Publisher Members service and prior to that she held the position of Deputy Director of Public Performance Licensing.

In his new appointment, Fackrell has set to work on the delivery of a new core technology platform titled CLEF (Copyright and Licensing Enterprise Facility) with the technical development teams.

The performing rights association has also appointed Jana Gibson as Deputy Director Communications and Events. Gibson has moved on from her role as Deputy Director Writer Services to manage both teams. She reports to Dean Ormston, Head of Member Services.

The Broadcast & Online Licensing team continues to be led by David Sheils, and the Public Performance Licensing service is led by Jennifer Gome. These two lines of business report to Richard Mallett, Head of Revenue.

APRA AMCOS are yet to fill the opened roles of Deputy Director Publisher Services and Deputy Director Writer Services. Both report to Catherine Gerrard, Director of Membership. To apply for the two positions, head to the TMN Jobs Page.

The new appointments follow APRA AMCOS’ major rebrand, the introduction of a showreels licence for agencies and their reauthorisation from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for another five years.
