Jonas Brothers score second Aussie airplay #1 with ‘Only Human’
Aussie radio has a new #1 single as Jonas Brothers clock their second chart-topper Down Under with ‘Only Human’.
The US trio go past Ed Sheeran’s ‘Beautiful People’ (#3) on the latest TMN Hot 100 Airplay Chart powered by Radio Monitor, and also pip Justin Bieber latest release with Dan + Shay (#2) to the top position.
Bieber won’t be perturbed though, and if ‘10,000 Hours’ goes on to summit the chart it will be his eighth single to do so.
Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers continue to reap the rewards of their second coming. ‘Only Human’ rises to the summit of the Hot 100 after comeback single ‘Sucker’ spent two weeks atop the chart earlier in 2019.
Their previous best effort came with ‘Paranoid’ in 2009 which didn’t manage to crack the Hot 100, but rose as high as #2 on the TMN Breakers Chart.

New Peaks & Remixes Storm The Chart
In addition to a new #1, there are plenty of songs with new peaks on the Hot 100 this week. In a strange turn of events, two tracks more than three years old find themselves in the Top 10.
Three years after its initial release, Lizzo’s ‘Good As Hell’ reaches a new high of #6 on the chart.
The single is up nine frames on last week, following the recent release of a remix featuring Ariana Grande. It is easily Lizzo’s highest-charting airplay single in Australia.
Regard’s ‘Ride It’ (#9) – a house remix of a Jay Sean’s release of the same name from 2008 – remains in the Top 10 after peaking at #7 last week.
Charts heavyweights Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran also rise to new highs with ‘Memories’ (#7) and ‘South Of The Border’ (#10) respectively.
Maroon 5 have now cracked the Top 10 on 15 occasions, while Sheeran’s team up with Camila Cabello & Cardi B is the 21st time he has breached the bracket.
The highest debut this week comes from Coldplay with their first new single of 2019, with a bow at #14 for ‘Orphans’.
The track was also last week’s Most Added To Radio, and if ‘Orphans’ goes on to top the chart it will become the UK band’s sixth TMN Hot 100 #1 spanning the last 15 years.
