Dew Process promotes Nathan Wood & Annette Gevert
In a number of major changes to its A&R and marketing teams, Dew Process has promoted Nathan Wood and Annette Gevert of the publicity team.
Wood is now international A&R and content manager.
He notched up a decade of media and music industry experience, with stints as a radio producer and freelance journalist at the ABC, Foxtel Music Channels, Rolling Stone and Junkee.
He began as a publicist at Dew Process in 2017, and worked on campaigns for acts including Mallrat, Tired Lion, James Vincent McMorrow and Spring King.
Wood’s new role sees him continue to manage the creative content for the label’s roster and manage its international A&R strategy across incoming signings and domestic export.
Wood has already made a number of signings to Dew Process, including New Zealand pop-punkers The Beths who’ve been added to triple j and showcase at BIGSOUND this week.
Meanwhile, Annette Gevert steps up to senior promotions manager.
Her new role sees her oversee all Dew Process signings on a day-to-day basis publicity strategy.
Gevert too has notched up a decade in the music industry, working at Secret Service PR, Mushroom Group Promotions and Warner Music Australia, working across campaigns for London Grammar, Mumford & Sons, Bernard Fanning, Tkay Maidza, Eves Karydas, Alice Ivy and WAAX.
In their new roles, Wood and Gevert continue to report to head of marketing Alex Young and CEO Paul Piticco.
In a joint statement, Young and Piticco said, “Both Nathan and Annette have worked incredibly hard the past two years, and we were more than happy to promote internally when the opportunity arose.
“We have a huge 12 months ahead both locally and abroad, and excited to continue breaking our incredible artists on an incredible scale.”
