Guest Playlist: Scott Darlow’s top 20 Indigenous artists
Influential singer-songwriter Scott Darlow today released his 10-track debut album Sorry. Outside of his palpable musical talent on his maiden release, the Melbourne native is an ardent Aboriginal activist who has dedicated the past 10 years of his life to educating youth all over the world on Aboriginal culture and reconciliation.
His passion for change has seen 500,000 students across 100 schools around the globe witness Darlow’s message of forgiveness, love, understanding, tolerance and empathy (F.L.U.TE) as a spokesperson for World Vision.
The album’s title track speaks profoundly about his Aboriginal heritage as a proud descendent of the Yorta Yorta Mob. Sorry uniquely combines elements of country, rock and pop with the appropriate addition of the traditional didgeridoo.
To celebrate the release of his debut album, Darlow has put together a playlist of his top 20 singles by Indigenous artists.
