Midweek ARIA Predictions: Good Charlotte vs. Peter Garrett
ARIA Singles
The Veronicas run at #1 with In My Blood could be cut short next week as Katy Perry’s new track Rise is looking at an incredibly high Top 3 entry. 5 Seconds Of Summer will also see a high debut for the Singles chart in the Top 10 with Girls Talk Boys.
Little Mix’s Hair will move into the Top 10 form #11 followed by Illy’s Papercuts ft. Vera Blue in the Top 15 from its debut point of #37. Dua Lipa’s Hotter Than Hell will enjoy a strong third week in the chart in the Top 20, currently at #25.
Britney Spears’ new singleMake Me ft. G-Eazy will make for the next notable debut in the Top 30, followed by Snakehips’ new banger Cruel ft. ZAYN in the Top 40.
ARIA Albums
Good Charlotte’s Youth Authority is leading the race for a #1 debut on the ARIA Albums chart next week. If they land the top debut it would become their second #1, after 2004’s The Chronicles Of Life And Death. They’re ahead of Peter Garrett’s A Version Of Now, which is also aiming for a Top 3 entry.
Emma Louise will debut in the Top 15 with Supercry and could very well set a new career peak. Her debut Vs Head Vs Heart peaked at #12 on the Albums chart. The Ghostbusters soundtrack will enter in the Top 20, followed by Steve Tyler’s We’re All Somebody From Somewhere in the Top 30.
Jeff Beck’s Loud Hailer will see a Top 30 entry as well while Stonefield’s As Above, So Below will crack the 40.
