Independent Chart Wrap: L-FRESH The LION roars up the charts

Charts & Music Manager

AIR Singles

Flume’s Say It ft. Tove Lo remains at #1 for another week on the Carlton Dry Independent Singles chart, leading ahead of a largely stagnant Top 5. The first change comes in at #5 with Gordi’s Wanting taking a debut. It leads ahead of Sia’s Alive which returns to #6 from #9.

Outside the Top 10, Vance Joy’s Riptide moves back up to #11 from #14. L-FRESH The LION scores a new entry at #17 with 1 In 100,000, as does Alex Lahey’s You Don’t Think You Like People Like Me at #19.

AIR Radio Play

Sia’s Cheap Thrills sits at #1 for another week as Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us hits #3 from #4. It marks the only real notable change on the chart until Abbe May’s Are We Flirting? debuts at #13. It’s followed by Wild Honey’s Eye To Eye re-entering at #14. Joel Adams also re-enters at #20 with Please Don’t Go.

AIR Albums

Sia also holds the Albums chart for another week with This Is Acting though The Cat Empire move back up to #2 from #4 with Rising With The Sun following a boost in sales no doubt attributed to their current tour of the album. L-Fresh The LION’s Become debuts at #4 followed by Ocean Alley’s Lost Tropics debuting at #10.

Hermitude re-enter at #18 with Dark Night Sweet Light as does Seth Sentry’s Strange New Past at #20.
