Midweek ARIA Predictions: The 1975 fight for #1

ARIA Singles

The top position will be hotly contested for on next week’s ARIA Singles chart. Twenty One Pilots’ Stressed Out is currently leading the race to #1 – itcurrently sits at #4. Though Hilltop Hoods’ 1955 featuring Montaigne & Tom Thum also has a good chance, moving up from #6. Rihanna’s huge single Work featuring Drake is likely to make it into the Top 5 from #10.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ new single Dance Off featuring Idris Elba & Anderson Paak is looking for a Top 20 debut, as is Kelly Clarkson’s Piece By Piece.

ARIA Albums

The 1975 have their eyes set on #1 this week with I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It looking to overthrow Hilltop Hoods’ hold on the chart. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are expected to smash into the chart somewhere in the Top 5 with This Unruly Mess I’ve Made.

Canberra heartthrobs Hands Like Houses have a Top 10 debut on their hands with Dissonants leading ahead of Hillsong Young & Free’s Youth Revival and DMA’SHills End, both expected to land in the lower ends of the Top 10.

A fair bit of metal will be debuting as well next week with Anthrax’s For All Kings looking to the Top 10 for a debut followed by Steel Panther’s Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage likely to enter in the Top 20.
