The Seed Fund opens applications for its 2019 workshop tomorrow
For well over a decade, The Seed Fund has made a name for itself as one of the most vital organisations in Australian music, giving up-and-coming artists and managers the tools that they need to become the world-beating industry professionals that they have the potential to be. Now, it’s back for another year, with applications for its 2019 round of funding.
Kicking off back in 2005, The Seed Fund has seen Aussie artists from all backgrounds being given the support and know-how to become self-sustaining professionals in the world of music.
After taking a couple of years off, The Seed Fund Workshop is now back for 2019, expanding its focus so that artists and managers can take part in order to become the dominant forces of change in the Aussie music industry.
The 2019 edition of The Seed Fund Workshop will see participants meeting with peers, facilitators and panelists in a workshop format that will also include discussions with leaders and change makers in the Aussie music industry.
The workshop will also see participants focus on creating a tailored twelve-month plans to help set them on the right path and achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves.
Applications are open to all Australian artists, artist managers, and self-managed artists, so if that applies to you – or know you know anyone who it applies to – now might be the perfect time to head over to The Seed Fund website for a bit more info.
Applications open on Monday, September 3rd, and close on Monday, October 15th. Successful applicants will be notified on Monday, December 3rd before the workshop takes place in March of 2019.
