Music Victoria announces new women’s leadership program, ‘Cultivate’
Music Victoria has just announced a new leadership program, ‘Cultivate’.
Supported by the Victorian Government, ‘Cultivate’ is a development program aimed at established women in Victoria’s music industry. ‘Cultivate’ aims to foster development, leadership and management skills within Victoria’s music industry leaders.
The program will partner participants with CEOs and experienced mentors, to upskill the advancement of their career. It also aims to expand their knowledge of leadership in the Victorian contemporary music sector.
The ‘Cultivate’ Program is currently taking its first-ever applicants for their 2019 intake.
Chelsea Wilson, Music Victoria’s Board Deputy Chair: has explained, “I am thrilled Music Victoria is announcing our new Women’s Leadership initiative ‘Cultivate’. This program further demonstrates our commitment to inclusion in the music community through providing relevant training, support and mentoring to empower the future leaders in our sector.”
