Watch: triple j’s hilarious ‘new sound’ parody video
triple j’s newbies Bryce and Ebony want to sprinkle some “razzle dazzle” into your triple j experience.
Bryce and Ebony are still getting their feet under the brekkie table at triple j. But in a cracking new clip, they prove they’re stuffed with loose ideas.
Be warned, you’ll need to bring a bib to protect from all the cheese.
The two-minute video, the chatty pair do the rounds of the Ultimo HQ as they test out new intros on the youth broadcaster’s presenters and producers.
Their edits are the worst type of bling. It’s an audio bedazzling of moans, ka-chings and high-octane, punch-you-in-the-face Cali shock-jock juice.
“We’re trying to up the brand,” enthuses Ebs, as her and Bryce unload their shock-and-awe tactics on Dave, Lucy and Avani.
The best take? “Get up bitch, set an alarm.” Or maybe, just not.
There’s currently “no word from management on whether this will make it on-air but they’ve certainly put they’re certainly giving us more ‘UNHhhh’ for our buck,” reads an update from Aunty.
It looks like Bryce and Ebony are fitting in just fine.

Recently triple j broadcaster Lewis Hobba (one half of the Hobba and Hing drive show) guested on Tone Deaf‘s Face The Music podcast.
Speaking in-depth about growing up in the rural Victorian town of Torquay and working his way up into the presenter’s chair at triple j, Lewis cast his eye back over an already impressive creative career, one that’s included creating sketch comedy shows, performing stand-up and doing the hard yards in the broadcasting world.
There was also plenty of chat about Lewis’ love of rap – something that he made clear when he spat some bars on air a few years ago, as well as insight as to his transition from one-half of the beloved ‘Veronica and Lewis’ show to the new ‘Hobba and Hing’ program (co-hosted by comedian Michael Hing).
