2015 ARIA Awards sell out, performers announced
ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Tina Arena, 7x ARIA nominee Vance Joy, ARIA chart history maker Conrad Sewell, Platinum-selling duo Peking Duk and ARIA winners The Veronicas are among those set to perform at the 2015 ARIA Awards this month.
Also performing at the ceremony on Thursday November 26 are producer duo Flight Facilities who are nominated in 2 categories (Album Of The Year, Best Dance Release); 4x nominee Jarryd James (Best Male Artist, Breakthrough Artist, Best Independent Release, Song Of The Year); ARIA chart toppers Hermitude, who are nominated in 5 categories (Album Of The Year, Best Group, Best Independent Release, Best Australian Live Act, Best Video); and 2x ARIA Award winner Jessica Mauboy, who is up for the Best Female Artist award this year.
Tickets to the ARIAs at The Star Event Centre in Sydney have officially sold out, however Channel 10 will air the Red Carpet and ceremony from 7:30pm.
In a hotly discussed decision by ARIA, the public will for the first time be able to vote in the ‘Best Australian Live Act’ category during the broadcast of the ARIAs. The category joins publicly voted awards ’Song Of The Year’, ’Best International Artist’ and ’Best Video’. Voting for the aforementioned three categories at ariaawards.com.au/public-voting closes Thursday, November 19.
