Ivy League Records signs The Beths
Mushroom Group’s Ivy League Records label has signed New Zealand’s The Beths.
The indie pop-rock band known for their vocal harmonies join the likes of Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Bakers Eddy, The Teskey Brothers, The Rubens, Hatchie and A.Swayze & The Ghosts on Ivy League’s roster.
Marihuzka Cornelius, A&R director, said the label is thrilled to welcome The Beths to Ivy League Records.
“We’ve been huge fans of theirs for a long time, watching lovingly from the sidelines until now,” Cornelius said.
“It’s an honour to be part of putting their exceptional music out and we feel they are a perfect fit amongst our roster of brilliant artists.”
The label also signed WILSN in December.
This latest signing coincides with the release of The Beths’ new single ‘A Real Thing’.
Ivy League came to life in 1997 as a joint venture between the Winterman & Goldstein Management team, founded by Pete Lutsy, Andy Cassell and Andy Kelly, and the Mushroom Group.
