Bucks inks global deal with Play Records, now represents early Deadmau5 catalogue

Bucks Music Group hasannounced aworldwide publishing agreement withPlay Records Publishing, home of Canada’s biggest powerhouse Dance label Play Records, established in 1996 by Melleny Melody and Zachary Spider BrownSmith.

The deal will see Bucks representing over 1000 works worldwide, including number of works byJoel ZimmermanakaDeadmau5including the ground-breaking single ‘Faxing Berlin’, ‘Vexillogy’ and ‘At Play’ albums. The catalogue also includes works by artistsincluding:Mellefresh, Azari and III, Spekrfrks, Calvertron, Billy Newton-Davis, Sick Individuals, Kolombo, Federico Scavo, Mendo, Craziibizia, Lazy Rich.

In April 2014Play Recordsmoved their Toronto offices to the heart of King’s Cross where they have opened a2,500ft, multi-room studio space and writing facility calledPlay Deep Studios, home to the UK’s only Otari series 54, 32 channel, analogue inline, fully automated, mixing desk.
