Lucky Ent. acquires Revelry Agency’s bookings component
Melbourne-based booking agency and management firm Lucky Ent. has acquired the bookings component of Revelry Agency, as well as its director Hugh Foster.
The Brisbane-based artist management and bookings company looks after Sony acts Jordan Burns and Yvng Jalapeño, as well as Vicious Bitch signings NOY and Jordan James. The four acts will join Lucky Ent.’s agency roster of 42 acts, including Will Sparks, Mashd N Kutcher, DCup and Tigerlily.
The acquisition also sees Lucky Ent. create a new role for entertainment booker (of The Met in Brisbane), artist manager and Revelry Agency director Hugh Foster. Foster, who saw his acts ink deals with Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Vicious Recordings in April, is now Head Of Alternative Electronica at Lucky Ent.
Lucky Ent. is set to expand its offerings through the creation of a central hub for Australian dance music. The focus on emerging talent within the Australian electronic music community will touch on every genre and sound.
Keiran Dole, Senior Agent/Manager at Lucky Ent. told TMN: "We are really excited to be working with Hugh and his team from Brisbane. He has built an extremely talented roster so far and we look forward to continuing the development of those artists and more alongside Hugh now and in the future."
In just two years Lucky Ent. has grown from a small cohort of two to become a nation-wide, full-service creative agency, offering artist management, booking agency services, international touring, digital brand management, PR services and record label management for Bourne Recordings and Lucky Records.
