5 Seconds Of Summer’s “Youngblood” just got dethroned on the Australian singles chart, but the lads are on the rise in the U.K.

On the midweek U.K. singles chart, “Youngblood” surges four places to No. 4, a new peak. In its 13 weeks on the weekly countdown, “Youngblood” has never managed better than No. 8, but with an excitable 5SOS Fam numbering about 30 million followers spread across their Facebook, Instagram and Twitter socials, anything is possible.

The Official U.K. Chart Update is led by Drake’s “In My Feelings,” the track which ended “Youngblood”’s ARIA Singles Chart reign at eight weeks, a streak good enough to rank joint second-best all-time for a homegrown artist. Justice Crew holds the Aussie record with nine weeks for “Que Sera.”

If there were questions about whether 5SOS had left it too long between releases, they’ve shut it all down. Recorded in Los Angeles with Swedish producing-writing team Carl and Rami and a team of top-shelf collaborators, “Youngblood” opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, extending their record as the only band (not vocal group) to start at the top with their first three full-length studio albums.

They’re also the first Aussie act to land three No. 1s in the U.S. The album, their first in two-and-a half years, also hit the summit in Australia and No. 3 in the U.K. The title track is one of 5SOS’ four tracks to impact the U.K.’s top 10.

5SOS return home next month for a round of live dates, kicking off Aug. 9 at Hordern Pavilion.
