123 Agency recruits Hollywood talent for new venture
Damian Costin of 123 Agency has teamed up with entertainment lawyer Lilit Chakman to launch Creative Entertainment Agency (CEA), a new venture which takes world-class celebrity talent and musicians and pairs them with suitable events, performances, appearances and advertising campaigns in Australasia.
The pair already have an impressive track record, being the brains behind Charlize Theron recent work with Capitol Grand, Kelly Rowland’s appearance at the Supercars Vodafone Gold Coast 600 and Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, Natalie Imbruglia’s appearance at Melbourne Cup Carnival, and Hilary Swank Swisse campaign.
“We represent dozens of companies, either directly or through their marketing agencies to connect their brands to the power of entertainment, music, fashion, and sports” explains Damian Costin, co-executive director of CEA. “We have unparalleled industry connections and can deliver time and cost-effective results for our clients.”
“Our experience and our successful track record means we get right to the key decision makers in the talent’s team and get answers immediately.” adds co-Executive Director Lilit Chakman.
“Working with international talent is complex”, Chakman continues. “There are things to consider such as opportunity cost, exclusivity and understanding not only the talent’s current role in the market but also their emerging role which can create layered negotiations – not to the mention the eccentricities of certain personalities.”
The company will operate from offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Los Angeles.
