Nova takes Red Room international

Nova Entertainment has teamed with Optus, Qantas, Marquee Nightclubs, Sony and Starcom to take its Red Room abroad.

The tour will take in four cities with six acts performing at four Red Rooms in seven days. It will launch at Sydney’s Marquee on September 3 with Justice Crew, Dami Im and Bonnie Anderson, before Samantha Jade performs the LA Qantas Business Lounge. The next Red Rooms with be held in Marquee Nightclubs in New York with Usher and in Las Vegas with G.R.L.

Since its launch in 2012, Nova Entertainment has produced over 70 Red Rooms reaching over 20 million people. This tour will be the first time Nova has taken the brand international.

Tony Thomas, NOVA Entertainment’s Group Marketing Director said, “Nothing of this scale has ever been attempted and we are very lucky to have such strong partners like Optus, Qantas, Marquee Nightclubs and Sony Music Australia to help us achieve it.”

26 Nova competition winners will join the tour, hosted by Nova announcer Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small. Smallzy will broadcast his Smallzy’s Surgery from 7pm weeknights during the tour, sharing highlights and performances from the Nova Red Room shows.

Nova listeners can win tickets through each of Nova’s local breakfast shows, plus Smallzy’s Surgery and The Daily Telegraph. Qantas are also giving one double pass away and Optus customers have a chance to win by purchasing a My Prepaid Plan at any Optus store.
