WIIGZ Sign to Dew Process

Pop disco outfit WIIGZ are now signed to Paul Piticco’s Dew Process.

The Brisbane duo of Hannah Brydon and Zoe Hilditch blend a knack for bass-drive disco, with looks that can kill.

They’ve amassed a solid base on TikTok, with 61,400 followers and 1.1 million “likes” for their videos, scoring 21,881 average “likes” for each post, and upwards of 5,700 followers on Instagram

Off the back of that healthy social following, the pair turned their attention to the stage.

A debut single, “Wwwwwhy,” dropped in 2021. The follow-up “Red Hot Pants” was picked up by Triple J Unearthed and the pair showcased the number for a headline gig at The Zoo, in the band’s hometown.

Brydon and Hilditch are in total chart of creative, by directing, editing, producing, funding, performing in and organising all their shoots and music videos.

Their signature catwalk clips are a big hit.

To celebrate the new deal, WIIGZ today (April 29) releases “Bitch Shit” via Dew Process and Universal Music Australia, accompanied with another sassy, self-directed music video.

“Think Bond Girls meet Studio 54,” explains Dew Process senior label & promotions manager Nathan Wood. “It’s very glamorous and sultry.”

WIIGZ showcased for the Live Nation and City of Gold Coast “Ones to Watch” event in February 2022 and they’re currently supporting Wolf Alice on the Brits’ national trek, produced by Frontier Touring.

New music is said to be on the way. “We reckon this band is going to blow up big in 2022,” enthuses Wood.

Established in 2002, Dew Process has expanded with a second office in Sydney and is a member of the Secret Sounds Group. Its roster includes homegrown acts Kingswood, Bernard Fanning, Mallrat, The Beths and internationals London Grammar, Bloc Party and Mumford & Sons.
