Vera Blue works her magic on new single, releases first live album

Breakthrough Aussie artist Vera Blue is capping off an amazing year with the release of brand new single ‘All The Pretty Girls’ and live album Lady Powers Live At The Forum.

The 24-year old experiments with a range of new sounds and themes on the new single, seeing a distinct change of pace from her past work. ‘All The Pretty Girls’ has already been added to triple j on high rotation and is expected to have further impact on radio playlists this week.

Blue also released her first live album Lady Powers Live At The Forum, a 16-track recording taken from her sold out show at the iconic Melbourne venue in June. A series of live videos filmed from the show will be released weekly, with first track ‘Magazine (Lady Powers Live At The Forum)’ available now.

Blue’s debut album Perennial peaked at #6 on the ARIA charts. Single cuts ‘Private’ (#89) and ‘Regular Touch’ (#61) both had moderate success on the TMN Hot 100, with the remixed version of ‘Lady Powers’ ft. Kodie Shane peaking at #39, her most successful airplay single as a lead artist to date.

The singer is heading out on the road between December and March for a string of festival and headline shows to promote the new works, including spots at Festival Of The Sun, Lost Paradise, Party In The Paddock and The Hills Are Alive.
