Music collaboration app Vampr, often referred to as “LinkedIn for musicians”, has announced a new Pro service, adding digital distribution services to its capabilities.

Vampr Pro will allow users to service their music to leading digital service providers including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, as well as keep 100% of their royalties.

With over 600,000 users, Vampr Pro in conjunction with the recently launched Vampr Publishing signals the transformation of a social network, into a 360 degree self-service platform for artists.

“Vampr distro will be bundled with our premium version Vampr Pro,” co-founder Josh Simons says.

Vampr Pro will be available for $4.99 a month. New features including extra content on your profile, unlimited rewinds, better search functions, the Pro badge to stand-out, and stealth mode.

“The premium version of Vampr with its additional tools ultimately delivers more career opportunities for the user with a better chance of experiencing that all-important exposure to a global community,” Simons adds.

“For the price of a coffee you can really stand out from the crowd, while keeping 100% of your royalties from streaming platforms.”

Simons, formerly a musician, decided to call it a day and launch the music tech start-up in 2016 with co-founder Barry Palmer.

Simons recently won the Reader’s Choice as part of TMN’s 30 Under 30 industry awards. He spoke with TMN about making the shift from artist to entrepreneur and how his years in a band helped to build a network that would prove very valuable.

Vampr Pro offers reduced rates for a 6-month term ($23.94, $3.99/month) or 12-month term ($35.88, $2.99/month).
