Usher‘s forthcoming tour of Australia has been scrapped.

“We regret to advise Usher’s Australian tour, scheduled to take place in November/ December, will no longer be proceeding,” reads a statement to ticketholders.

It’s unclear why the lap, the domestic leg of Usher’s Past Present Future 2025 Global Tour, has been yanked. The concerts are indeed cancelled, a spokesperson confirms to TMN, not postponed.

All tickets will be automatically refunded, the message continues, and further enquires are directed to the point of purchase.

Live Nation was producing the east coast visit, for what would have been Usher’s first headline tour of these parts in over a decade.

The American R&B star was initially booked to perform four shows at both Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, the biggest arenas in the country, in November and December 2025.

Demand was initially so high, LN added four dates across both cities, boosting the itinerary to 12 shows. “I can’t wait to bring this tour to Australia, a place where I hope to retire in the future,” Usher said in a statement at the time. “See you soon!”

Usher’s last solo headline visit to Australia was the OMG Tour back in 2011.

The “U Got It Bad” singer completed a North American tour last year in support of his 30th year in showbiz. Usher’s most recent album Coming Home (via mega/gamma) went to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, but failed to crack the ARIA Top 40, peaking at No. 46.
