#1. Martin Garrix ft. Khalid – ‘Ocean’ (EPIC/SME)

There’s no going wrong with Khalid at radio. The rapper lays down vocals on Martin Garrix’s new single ‘Ocean’, one of the DJ’s finest commercial offerings yet. Both Garrix and Khalid have proven track records at radio with a combined four Top 10 singles between them on the TMN Hot 100 (‘Young, Dumb & Broke’, ‘Silence’, ‘Love Lies’, ‘Don’t Look Down’).

#2. Alessia Cara – ‘Growing Pains’ (DEF/UMA)

‘Here’ (#12), ‘Scars To Your Beautiful’ (#6) and ‘Stay’ (#3) made emphatic marks on the commercial radio scene upon release, and we’ve been waiting eagerly another dose of Canadian singer Alessia Cara ever since. The 21-year-old takes a very personal approach on ‘Growing Pains’, an ode she wrote entirely by herself. Bolstered by a strong team of producers, a debut appearance on the Hot 100 this week will come as no shock to anyone.

#3. Rudimental & Major Lazer ft. Anne-Marie & Mr. Eazi – ‘Let Me Live’ (ATL/WMA)

With a dub-heavy beat and funky climax, ‘Let Me Live’ sees Major Lazer get back to their roots with the help of UK act Rudimental, popstar Anne-Marie and Nigerian singer-songwriter Mr Eazi. It’s the second release in a month for Rudimental whose radio smash ‘These Days’ ft. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen spent six consecutive weeks on top of the Hot 100.
