Uncharted: David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, DJ Khaled, Logic

Uncharted: David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, DJ Khaled, Logic

David Guetta ft. Anne-Marie – Don’t Leave Me Alone (PAR/WMA)

Don’t Leave Me Alone is arguably David Guetta’s finest work of the past few years. The DJ teams up with Anne-Marie, one of the hottest commodities at commercial radio right now. The UK popstar is soaring higher than ever before as a lead artist with throwback anthem 2002 going agonisingly close to the top of the TMN Hot 100 only a fortnight ago.

The Chainsmokers ft. Emily Warren – Side Effects (COL/SME)

It looks as though 2018 has finally kicked off for The Chainsmokers. On first listen, you’d be right to think that new single Side Effects evokes a feeling of sonic familiarity. Longtime collaborator Emily Warren – who also laid down vocals for smash hit Paris – features on the single, which takes us right back to the duo’s formative years: “We felt it was time for a summer jam rooted in the sound we created when we first started making records,” the boys said.

DJ Khaled ft. Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper & Quavo – No Brainer (EPIC/SME)

DJ Khaled has assembled another high-powered combo of feature artists on new single No Brainer. Apart from Lil Wayne, the lineup is almost identical to that of 2017 #1 radio single I’m The One, giving us hope that Khaled can repeat the feat. I’m The One spent two consecutive at the top of the airplay chart, while fellow single Wild Thoughts ft. Bryson Tiller and Rihanna peaked at #2.

Logic ft. Ryan Tedder – One Day (DEF/UMA)

One Day by 27-year-old rapper Logic is a feel-good lyrical masterpiece. The single features the distinctive vocals of OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder which will no doubt tempt MDs to take action. 1-800-273-8255 ft. Alessia Cara & Khalid moved commercial listeners in 2017, bringing mental health and suicide prevention awareness to the international conversation, peaking at #22 on the Hot 100.
