Tones And I ramps up her bid for global chart dominance

Tones And I continues to have an impact across key global markets.

Remaining at #1 for a sixth consecutive week in Australia, 2x ARIA Platinum single ‘Dance Monkey’ is still the #1 song in four other countries (Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland).

The track has also been certified Platinum in Ireland and Gold in Sweden.

Markets such as Germany and Austria see ‘Dance Monkey’ nestled in the Top 10, while the single continues to climb the sales charts in Belgium.

Tones is also capitalising on her recent local airplay boost (new #4 peak on the TMN Hot 100) as she enters the Top 40 on the Global Radio Airplay Chart.

In addition, ‘Dance Monkey’ is second-fastest rising single in the UK, up 41-30 on the current chart.

Back in Oz, the song joins Kylie Minogue’s ‘I Should Be So Lucky’ and Merril Bainbridge’s ‘Mouth’ this week as the joint second-longest serving #1 by an Aussie female solo act.

The rising star followed up the release of her much-anticipated debut EP The Kids Are Coming with two performances at BIGSOUND 2019 in Fortitude Valley last week.

From busking at last year’s event to becoming the buzz act of 2019, there’ll be plenty more to come from Tones in 2020.
